WASHINGTON (Reuters) – U.S. Legal professional Normal Merrick Garland met with Ukraine’s high prosecutor in Washington on Tuesday and agreed to work extra carefully collectively to prosecute people concerned in battle crimes and different atrocities in Ukraine, the Justice Division stated.
Garland and Ukrainian Prosecutor Normal Andriy Kostin mentioned efforts to carry perpetrators accountable within the wake of Russia’s invasion and signed a memorandum of understanding that may facilitate nearer cooperation, the division stated in an announcement.
