WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The US and Britain are enduring allies and their sturdy bond will final, U.S. President Joe Biden mentioned on Thursday after British Prime Minister Liz Truss introduced her resignation.
“The US and the UK are sturdy Allies and enduring mates — and that truth won’t ever change. I thank Prime Minister Liz Truss for her partnership on a variety of points together with holding Russia accountable for its struggle in opposition to Ukraine. We are going to proceed our shut cooperation with the U.Okay. authorities as we work collectively to fulfill the worldwide challenges our nations face,” Biden mentioned in an announcement.
