Sixth officer is ‘relieved of obligation’ after Tyre Nichols’ dying, Memphis police say

A sixth Memphis police officer has been relieved of obligation after the site visitors cease that led to Tyre Nichols’ dying earlier this month, police stated Monday.

The division recognized the officer as Preston Hemphill.
