(Reuters) – President Volodymyr Zelenskiy on Monday mentioned the resilience of Ukraine’s forces preventing off waves of assaults within the japanese area of Donbas had helped the nation win time and achieve power.

“Because of the resilience of our troopers in Soledar, we now have gained for Ukraine further time and extra power for Ukraine,” Zelenskiy mentioned in his nightly video tackle.

Ukrainian navy stories say the nation’s troops are withstanding heavy assaults by Russian forces redeployed in Soledar after failing to take the bigger close by city of Bakhmut.
