Jeff Beck, the British rockstar recognized for his skillful mastery of guitar, died of bacterial meningitis, his household introduced Wednesday.
Beck, 78, spent final summer season touring Europe and launched a joint album with actor Johnny Depp in July. He contracted meningitis “immediately,” based on the assertion on his official web site and social media accounts.

“Deepest sympathy to his spouse pals shut ones I’m bewildered Jeff Beck it don’t make sense I don’t get it,” Davies tweeted. “He was an excellent pal and an excellent guitar participant.”
Beck is survived by his spouse Sandra.
