(Reuters) – Attackers killed 18 individuals on Wednesday once they opened hearth in a metropolis corridor in San Miguel Totolapan, a city in southern Mexico, Mexican each day El Common reported on Thursday.
These killed included city Mayor Conrado Mendoza and his father Juan, the newspaper quoted the State Legal professional Basic as saying.
The gunmen appeared to have carried out a coordinated collection of assaults contained in the constructing with the intention of killing the mayor, the newspaper stated. It stated the attackers have been presumed to belong to an armed group referred to as Los Tequileros.
