WASHINGTON (Reuters) – U.S. President Joe Biden spoke with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis on Tuesday night and mentioned about how the federal authorities might assist the state in making ready for Hurricane Ian, the White Home stated.
“President Biden spoke this night with Governor DeSantis of Florida to debate the steps the Federal authorities is taking to assist Florida put together for Hurricane Ian,” White Home Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre stated on Twitter (NYSE:), including the 2 “dedicated to continued shut coordination.”
Residents of Florida’s Gulf Coast on Tuesday boarded up their properties, packed up their automobiles and headed for increased floor as Hurricane Ian drew close to, threatening to carry a lethal storm surge and greater than a foot (30 cm) of rain to some areas.
