A pupil was killed in a Purdue College residence corridor. Their roommate is in custody.


A murder investigation is underway after a pupil was killed in a residence corridor at Purdue College in Indiana, college officers mentioned early Wednesday. 

A 911 name was made to school police round 12:45 a.m., college spokesperson Tim Doty mentioned. The suspect, described as “the sufferer’s roommate,” made the decision and was taken into custody, in response to the official.

“There is no such thing as a risk to the neighborhood,” Doty mentioned. 

The Tippecanoe County Coroner Workplace recognized the sufferer Wednesday morning as Varun Manish Chheda, 20, of Indianapolis. His post-mortem is scheduled for later within the day.
