Two law enforcement officials had been killed and one was in severe situation after an in a single day taking pictures in Bristol, Connecticut, police mentioned.
The Connecticut State Police introduced at round 3:30 a.m. ET it was investigating an officer-involved taking pictures in Bristol, about 20 miles southwest of Hartford, with accidents reported.
In a later tweet, it mentioned three officers had been concerned within the incident because the division cautioned that the scene was “nonetheless very energetic and fluid.”
Simply over two hours later, police introduced that two of the officers had been fatally shot, with one significantly injured.
“We ask your ideas and prayers be with the households, the officer and all these impacted,” state police mentioned.
The division didn’t present additional particulars on the circumstances of the taking pictures or whether or not any suspects had been recognized or arrested.
